## Custody and control

### Who holds my assets?

You do. Assets stay in your own wallet, positions are held onchain by your address, and every movement of your assets carries your wallet's signature. AGI3 authorizes transactions but cannot move your assets, and it never holds your keys. See [How transactions are signed](/how-to/how-transactions-are-signed).

### What does the signature do when I connect a wallet?

It proves you control the address, nothing more. It is not a transaction, it moves nothing, and it grants no spending permission. Check that the domain in the message matches the site and that the address is the one you intend to bind. See [Connect a portfolio](/how-to/connect-a-portfolio).

### Why can't my newly added wallet transact yet?

A 24-hour cooling period runs from the moment a wallet's ownership is verified, with compliance screening during the window. You are notified when it starts and when it completes. It is a security control: it removes the speed an account attacker depends on. See [Connect a portfolio](/how-to/connect-a-portfolio).

## Verification

### Does AGI3 review my identity documents?

No. Verification is performed by an independent, specialist verification provider in a flow embedded in the platform. Your documents stay with the provider; AGI3 receives the verification outcome and a case reference. See [Verification and access](/platform-basics/verification-and-access).

### My verification says "Under review". How long does that take?

The review step is the one part of onboarding without a fixed duration. You will be notified the moment it completes, and the platform shows the current status wherever portfolio data would otherwise appear. If the outcome is Declined, contact your AGI3 representative rather than retrying. See [Onboarding](/platform-basics/onboarding).

## Positions and risk

### What does a health factor of 1.00 mean?

That the position is exactly at its borrowing limit, with its entire liquidation buffer still intact. **On AGI3, liquidation sits at 0.00, not at 1.00.** Some other platforms scale this the opposite way, so recalibrate before applying habits formed elsewhere. ### Will I be warned before a liquidation?

Yes, twice: a margin call warning, then an imminent liquidation warning, each sent as an in-platform notification and an email. The warnings do not pause anything; the threshold applies the moment it is crossed, so act on the first warning rather than the second. See [How liquidation works](/risk/liquidation).

### What does a liquidation cost me?

The liquidation penalty: collateral is sold at a discount, per collateral class, of 1% for blue-chip crypto, 3% for tokenized gold, 4% for index tokens, and 5% for tokenized stocks, on top of whatever price move caused the event. See [Risk parameters](/risk/risk-parameters).

### Why is the maximum borrow shown lower than my own calculation?

The platform quotes 97% of the theoretical limit. Prices and accrued interest drift between quoting and execution, and a figure computed at the exact limit would frequently be rejected onchain. See [Risk parameters](/risk/risk-parameters).

### Why was my supplied asset only partly withdrawable?

A market can only pay out what it currently holds; when most of a market's supply is borrowed, withdrawals are capped until liquidity returns. Your borrow capacity is bounded the same way. See [Supply assets to earn yield](/how-to/supply-assets).

## Transactions

### Why did my transaction ask to be retried?

Each action carries an AGI3 authorization that is valid for ten minutes, and the platform stops waiting after about 90 seconds if authorization has not landed. A retry issues a fresh authorization; nothing has moved in the meantime. See [How transactions are signed](/how-to/how-transactions-are-signed).

### Can AGI3 reverse or pause a transaction or liquidation?

No. Transactions execute onchain, and liquidations are performed by third parties acting directly against the underlying protocol. AGI3 cannot pause or reverse either. What AGI3 controls is what happens before the chain: compliance checks and authorization on every action, and warnings ahead of any liquidation.

### Where do I see everything my entity has done?

The Transactions page lists every supply, borrow, repayment, withdrawal, and swap for the selected portfolio, and switching to All Portfolios widens it to the whole entity. Each row carries its status, timestamp, and transaction hash linking to the chain record.
